Seeing my children happily playing together is one of the most rewarding things I know. Especially when it isn’t loud or destructive. I feel like I go through days where I don’t enjoy my children. I love them very much, but when I am tired or too task oriented I miss the joy that could be mine. This was one particular day where I felt privileged to be the mom to these three beautiful children. God has really blessed us. Here they are playing with a cute little dish set I got from Target. Who knew this clearance item would bring so much fun. It is great to watch them pretend and play house together. Cate talking in her own 2 year old gibberish is very sweet. James trying to act like he has a deep voice like his daddy. Emma serving her family and giving instructions to them very calmly. They see everything we do as parents. It is scary how much they copy or remember. I think Cate came up with the hands in the toaster all by herself. Maybe she has seen daddy do that I don’t know. He has done some strange things before.

James is a hunter! He searches for his food high and low. We have found things from the refrigerator, pantry and cabinets spread out on the counters. He does all this in stealth before anyone wakes up. It is like he has set out a buffet line with all his favorites. Chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk, really anything that is sweet or might be sweet. After weeks of this we decided to put James on the Feingold diet. Here is a picture after we found he had pillaged a cabinet.
